The VI Annual Meeting and Spanish InterPore Chapter was held at the E.T.S.I Caminos, Canales y Puertos (UPM, Madrid) on November 19-20th, 202. The meeting featured three invited speakers:
- Belén Benito (UPV): Sismicidad natural y sismicidad inducida: Estrategias de mitigación.
- Noel Díez Nogués (INCAR-CSIC): Sustainable, salt-assisted activation approaches towards advanced carbon based electrode materials.
- Verónica Morales (UC-Davis): Living porous media: biological drivers of subsurface flow and transport dynamics.
- Rainer Helmig (U. Stuttgart): Porous media and free-flow coupling – from REV to pore scale and back. Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lecture 2025.
In addition the Meeting program had thirteen contributed talks and a poster session with ten presenters. The workshop provided a forum for knowledge exchange and creating new links between researchers in different porous media disciplines from academia and industry for over 30 attendees.
